Child Safety Seats (Car Seats) & Booster Seats

California's new booster seat law raises age and weight limits. Beginning Jan. 1, 2002, children must be secured in a car safety seat or booster seat until they are at least 6 years old or weigh 60 pounds. (Previous limits were up to age 4 or 40 pounds.) Confused about how to meet the new requirement? We've got help for you.

Useful Websites
