New Places to Find Parents' Press
Major Distribution Changes Begin with June
2003 Issue
Parents' Press Drops Most Safeway Stores,
Adds Many Albertson's and Blockbuster Video
Beginning with the June 2003
issue, Parents' Press is changing the distribution company that
handles our placement in "free paper racks" in Bay
Area supermarkets and some other venues.
As a result, you will be able
to pick up a copy of Parents' Press at many Albertson's supermarkets,
Blockbuster Video stores, and Bally Total Fitness locations starting
June 1. Look for the "free paper stand" near a main
entrance or exit to the store, either inside or just outside.
Our slot at these stores will carry a Parents' Press label.
At a few Albertson's and Blockbuster
Video locations (mainly in Contra Costa County), we are on a
waiting list for an open slot.
You will no longer find Parents'
Press in Safeway supermarkets (except in Marin County), Long's
Drugs, and Bonfare Markets after May 31.
Marin readers will still find
Parents' Press at Safeway stores, at Apple Market in Novato,
and at More for Less in San Rafael. It is not available at present
at the Bell's Markets or Albertson's in Marin Co.

HOW TO GET MULTIPLE COPIES:
Parents' Press will deliver
a minimum of 25 copies each month to stores, schools, preschools,
offices, and other public and private distribution points in
most parts of Alameda Co., Contra Costa Co., Marin Co. (except
West Marin), and San Francisco. There is no charge for the papers
or the delivery.
Please provide the following
information in writing:
 Name of business or program.
Street
address, including city and ZIP code.
Nearest
cross-street, or directions.
Name
of person ordering papers.
Daytime
phone number.
Number
of copies wanted (in multiples of 5; minimum is 25 copies). You
can adjust the number of copies at any time.
Where
to place the papers. Some deliveries are made before or after
normal business hours, so please indicate an alternate location
for times where you are closed.

Parents' Press
is available by mail for $15 per year within the U.S. We accept

Mailed copies
are handled by the Postal Service as third-class (bulk) mail,
and as a result you may not receive your copy for several days
to a week, or even longer, after printing.

one renewal notice by postcard shortly before your subscription
expires.
