The Horse, of Course!
“Horses in the History of the Amador-Livermore Valley” honors the horse and its influence in the Amador-Livermore Valley. See a blacksmith’s shop, racing silks and racetrack paraphernalia as part of this exhibit.

100 Anniversary Jamboree
An estimated 10,000 Boy Scouts, leaders and families from Northern California gather for this four-day jamboree with everything from extreme sports and living history to archery and a pinewood derby plus a visit from Scouts founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell.

Cal Day
Spend the day getting to know the UC Berkeley campus. The university holds a family-friendly open house with more than 300 events scheduled to appeal to all ages. Look for fossils, manipulate a robot, get up close with a reptile or retrieve info about Cal programs and the application process. All campus museums will be open and not charge admission.

The 64th Semi-annual Sidewalk Fine Arts and Crafts Festival
